Johan van den Berg is an avid technology enthusiast, serving many leadership roles in the online gaming, education, mining and small business industries since 2002. He was the first webmaster of the University of Technology in 2004 and helped drive the university into the digital era with the large-scale deployment of web technology on top of mainframe computing. He started his first technology consulting and support business in 2006 which is still in operation today and serves a wide array of customers in South Africa. He started as CTO in online gaming in 2008 and has led the adoption of agile as a standard for software development.
